In 1952 brothers Shmuel and Uzi Cohen set up a metal workshop, which over the years grew into a metal factory. The brothers’ vision and drive, combined with their original ideas, netted their small business large jobs and specialized projects,in time turning it into one of Israel’s foremost steel companies.

In recent years the younger generation has joined the family business, ensuring that it maintains its leading position well into the present century.

Today, S. Cohen Ltd. is a major importer and marketer of building and industrial products such as construction iron, professional iron, steel mesh, various kinds of steel sheets, gypsum and its products, profiles, acoustic ceilings, cement boards, insulating materials and more. The company also specializes in interior products, including tiles, sanitary fittings, doors and kitchen cabinets, which it markets both in the business sector (contractors, construction projects, stores) and to private consumers.

Ceramics The company’s executive management and showroom are located in Jerusalem. The Park Re’em branch maintains a logistic center on an area of 50,000 square meters situated near the port of Ashdod, in which it carries on manufacturing and countrywide marketing of steel and other products.

The Cohen brothers’ vision was to set up a center in Jerusalem that would offer, under one roof, the entire range of products used in construction, from the foundations to the final stage of interior design.

In 1992 this vision became true, with the opening of a huge, 8000 square-meter complex in the Talpiyot industrial area. The complex contains Israel’s largest and most impressive showroom, extending over 2,000 square meters on a single level, and includes three departments:

Ceramics - ceramic wall tiles, marble floor tiles, sanitary fittings, faucets, massage systems, shower booths, wooden parquet surfaces, etc.
Doors - an array of elegant entrance doors and interior doors imported from Italy.
Kitchens - the latest collection of kitchen cabinets, combining innovative and customized design with the highest technical specifications, kitchen sinks and faucets, electric appliances, etc.

All the products sold in the complex are top-quality imports from leading manufacturers in Europe and the world, keeping the veteran company au courant and adding style to its steel operations.

showroom S. Cohen Ltd. believes in continual development and constantly seeks to expand the range of products and services offered to its customers. In keeping with this philosophy, it recently established two new factories in Park Re’em for steel cutting, bending and manufacture of steel mesh and steel piles for construction.
